About the Position

Job Title: Obstetrics Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Obstetrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6 PM - 6 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Must have obstetrics and med-surg experience. License: KS or Multistate license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Certification, NRP required. BLS and ACLS must be through AHA. Must-Have: Previous CAH experience is essential. Traveler must have experience in both obstetrics and med-surg. Ability to work more med-surg shifts than obstetric shifts may be required. Description: This position requires a registered nurse with experience in obstetrics and med-surg. The shift for this role is from 6 PM to 6 AM. The nurse will be expected to work with a 1:1 OB patient ratio and a 1:3 med-surg patient ratio on average. Occasional charge responsibilities may be assigned. The facility may provide shared housing at a reduced rate if needed. All candidates are encouraged to have previous travel experience. A flu vaccine is strongly preferred, with exemptions allowed, but those opting out will need to wear a mask during flu season. Scrub color is flexible, allowing for any color.
