Description: Deliver direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement guidelines. Assess patient conditions, record changes, and communicate critical updates to the interdisciplinary team to support timely, coordinated care decisions. Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety best practices. Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe transitions, continuity of care, and positive patient outcomes. The nurse will care for non-obstetrical patients presenting to the emergency room, function in triage, and assist clinically around the unit. This emergency department operates within a larger hospital and has multiple accreditations and specialty care certifications. The facility specializes in high-risk, fast-paced delivery services and performs numerous deliveries per month, supported by in-house coverage teams.
