Warehouse Operations Manager

Position Summary: Responsible for storing and staging materials and equipment in our warehouse. May performing building and grounds maintenance . You will serve as the primary contact concerning the operational usage, routine maintenance, and control of the company's vehicle fleet. This position will require knowledge in planning and organizing the warehouse layout, for optimal use. You will bring with you, the necessary experience in planning and organization of the warehouse inventory and processes and assist with strategizing for optimal operational use of the warehouse and yard. DUTIES Perform monthly truck inspections Pick up/Deliver materials Pick up/Deliver parts Record equipment maintenance Deliver trucks for routine maintenance and inspection Perform bi-annual equipment/tool inventory and update inventory in computer Manage master inventory and storage Receive and log all materials and store appropriately Schedule forklift, truck maintenance, and refuels Communicate with purchasing for anticipated ordering and forecasted inventory needed. Maintain building Understand and exhibit safe work practices and the principles of Ownership Thinking COMPETENCIES Must be able to improve projects and company operations by recommending better methods, staffing and procedural changes. Must listen to directions and suggestions from supervisors or other employees regarding safe and proper work practices. Evaluate that information to devise and implement a plan based on the evaluation for carrying out the duties of this position. Must identify workplace safety hazards and take all appropriate corrective action to eliminate or minimize them. Must be able to influence and persuade others to achieve desired event outcomes Must be able to organize, plan and prioritize Must be self-motivated Must be punctual Must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule Must be able to improvise tasks with tools available Must be able to communicate effectively via email or phone Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Must possess excellent interpersonal skills Must possess excellent analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills Must act professionally, and with integrity Must possess a current and valid driver’s license and insurance Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record Must possess a CDL Drivers License Must maintain drug-free status throughout employment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the work day Must be able to travel throughout Metro Denver, occasionally out of town and/or out of state Must be able to sit, stand, kneel and bend for extended periods of time Must be able to withstand repetitive motion Must be able to withstand long hours Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job. DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES Must maintain vehicle compliance, cleanliness and routine maintenance Must complete all Pre-Trip Inspections of vehicle and any trailer being towed Must complete Daily Vehicle Inspection Report Must be familiar and comply with FMCSA and DOT laws and regulations Per FMCSR, all commercial drivers must be able to read and fluently speak English Experience and Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledge of Microsoft Office Knowledge of 4-cycle and 2-cycle engine theory Knowledge of 4-cycle and 2-cycle engine repair #J-18808-Ljbffr
