Quality Technician

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Technician to support food safety and quality assurance activities in a fast‑paced production environment. This role will conduct inspections, collect and analyze quality data, and ensure products meet specifications and regulatory standards while working closely with Quality and Production teams. Compensation & Shift: Salary $52,000 – $62,400 per year. Shift: Third (11 PM – 7 AM). Education required: High School. Responsibilities Conduct routine quality inspections on raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods Ensure products meet defined specifications, standards, and customer requirements Perform measurement, testing, and verification using inspection tools and techniques Collect, record, and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Support adherence to food safety and quality systems including HACCP and GMPs Assist with documentation, batch records, and quality reporting requirements Identify and escalate non‑conforming products or process deviations Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Work with Quality and Production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes Conduct visual inspections and support use of inspection and detection systems Ensure compliance with ISO‑based quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 where applicable) Maintain accurate records for traceability and audit readiness Support sanitation and hygiene verification activities as required Participate in continuous improvement and quality improvement initiatives Assist in product holds, releases, and disposition decisions when needed Skills Quality Control Quality Assurance Inspecting Sampling Testing Supervising Qualifications Years of experience: 4 years Experience level: Experienced Education: High School Benefits Pay offered will be based on several factors.
