Required Qualifications Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech Language Pathology experience; new graduates are welcome to apply Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. Working in a variety of settings, the SLP develops and implements individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing speech, language, and cognitive-communication abilities. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to facilitate improved communication outcomes and overall quality of life.
