This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale construction projects supporting client delivery, driving execution from planning through commissioning.The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and client-facing experience, with a proven ability to deliver high-value projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.Project Leadership & DeliveryChampion site safety performance and compliance through executive engagement and strategic oversight.Lead end-to-end delivery of construction projects and industrial environmentsProvide strategic oversight across all phases: planning, design coordination, construction, and closeoutDirect multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project executionDrive schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance across multiple concurrent projectsTechnical Construction OversightGuide construction execution strategies, logistics planning, and constructability reviewsReview design deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements, cost efficiency, and compliance standardsLead QA/QC programs, including inspection readiness and corrective action managementAdvise clients and internal leadership on project risks, delivery models, and technical solutionsContract & Budget ManagementOversee contract administration, including negotiation of contracts and change ordersManage project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlEvaluate and approve scope, cost, and schedule changes to ensure alignment with project objectivesCompliance & Risk ManagementChampion a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all regulatory and company standardsIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks related to construction delivery, logistics, and project executionMonitor project performance through KPIs related to safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainabilityClient and Business LeadershipServe as primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfactionSupport business development efforts, including proposals, pursuits, and client presentationsCollaborate with senior leadership to align project execution with broader business strategyMentor and develop project teams, fostering a high-performance culturePerform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.#LI-TD1Who You AreRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field OR equivalent15+ years of experience in construction project management, with emphasis on large, complex projectsDemonstrated success delivering large industrial construction projectsStrong knowledge of construction delivery methods, contract structures, and project controlsExperience managing budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teamsProficiency in construction management platforms (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, e-Builder)Strong understanding of construction codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirementsExcellent communication and client management skillsOSHA 10-hour certification (or ability to obtain)About the companyAbout WSPWSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
