System Engineer - Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $103,916.8 - 114,400 per year Requirements:

• We need 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration and IT infrastructure operations.
• We need 3+ years of enterprise experience working with network engineering and protocols such as SNMP, NetFlow, and gNMI.
• We need hands-on experience administering Syslog-NG platforms and working in Azure cloud environments.
• We need proven ability to develop automation scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Preferred: experience building Ansible playbooks for configuration management.
• Preferred: familiarity with IBM SevOne Network Performance Manager or Broadcom AppNeta.
• Preferred: experience querying data with KQL or T-SQL.
• We require a bachelors degree.

• We operate and manage Linux and Windows VMs in Azure while maintaining strict security and configuration controls.
• We support enterprise network observability platforms, including syslog-ng and trapd, through patching, regex work, and capacity planning.
• We automate repetitive operational work and CI/CD pipelines using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• We troubleshoot complex application, network, and operating system issues and participate in our on-call rotation.

We are an enterprise Service Health Platforms team seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to support large-scale network observability systems hosted in Azure. In this telecommute contract role, we help power global network operations by ensuring high availability, security compliance, and strong performance across our internal and commercial telemetry platforms.
