Job Opportunity: Vascular Surgeon

The Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at our organization is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Vascular Surgeon for a position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This role presents a chance to become part of a distinguished team of academic vascular surgeons, guided by the Division Director and the Chair of the Department of Surgery.

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in establishing a comprehensive practice focused on vascular disease management, with a specific emphasis on complex aortic disease treatment. Collaboration with the newly appointed Co-Director of our Center for Aortic Disease will be a key aspect of this role.

• Provide clinical care at our medical center and the Edward Hines Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital.
• Engage in the management of complex aortic diseases.
• Potential to take on a leadership position as Aortic Director, depending on the candidate's qualifications.
• Opportunity for designated research time at the Hines VA Hospital.

• Board certification or eligibility in Vascular Surgery.
• Interest in developing a broad practice in vascular disease care.

This position involves clinical responsibilities at both our medical center and the Veterans Administration Hospital, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, which includes:

• Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
