Software Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and proactive Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and deploy reliable software applications across the full development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and system architects—to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing code.
Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across full-stack, frontend, or backend application systems.
• System Design & Architecture: Participate in designing scalable system architectures, technical specs, and database schemas.
• Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Perform peer code reviews to maintain code quality, enforce security standards, and share technical knowledge.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix software bugs or performance bottlenecks in production environments.
• Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, designers, and QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment to plan, estimate, and ship features on schedule.
• CI/CD & Deployment: Assist in managing automated deployment pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code setup.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough technical documentation for APIs, systems architecture, and codebase specifications.
  Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record as a Software Engineer or Developer building production web/mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in one or more core backend/frontend languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, or C++).
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and SQL optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django).
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tooling.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).
