$24 - $25 / Hourly, Paid Weekly

Responsibilities:

• Operating a yard truck (terminal tractor) to move empty and loaded trailers within the yard.
• Positioning trailers at loading and unloading docks according to schedules.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and trailers.
• Inspecting trailers for visible damage and reporting maintenance or safety issues.
• Communicating with warehouse staff, dispatchers, and dock personnel to coordinate trailer movements.
• Maintaining accurate records of trailer locations, movements, and inspections.
• Organizing the trailer yard to maximize space and improve efficiency.
• Ensuring trailers are properly secured before movement.
• Following all company safety policies and traffic regulations within the yard.
• Assisting with inventory or equipment tracking when required.
• Monitoring trailer availability and prioritizing movements based on operational needs.
• Keeping the work area clean and reporting hazards.

Education And/Or Experience:

• Valid Driver's License (CDL Not Required)
• One (1) Year Experience With Yard Jockeying Preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:

• Strong Communication Skills (Written And Verbal)
• Ability To Work With Limited Supervision

Physical Requirements:

• Sit Or Stand For Prolonged Periods Of Time
• Ability To Frequently Get In And Out Of Vehicles
• Ability To Lift Up To 75 Pounds
• Ability To Work In A Warehouse Environment (Concrete Floors And Changing Temperatures)
