License Dental Assistant The License Dental Assistant (LDA) supports the dentist in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with treatment procedures, taking x-rays, and educating patients on oral health. They maintain a clean and sterile environment, ensure compliance with safety and infection control regulations, and help foster a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for treatment with urgency Promote a positive patient experience by addressing individual needs Prepare patients for treatment and support the dentist during procedures Perform x-rays and intra-oral imaging as directed Educate patients on postoperative and oral health care Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories according to ADA guidelines Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Qualifications High school diploma or GED, with required state training and certifications Relevant licenses or registrations (e.g., radiography, sealant application) Preferred: an associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience Skills Effective chair-side skills, attention to detail, compliance awareness, patient communication. #J-18808-Ljbffr Aura Health
