Restaurant Busser

Essential Responsibilities: - Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen. - Replaces soiled table linens and sets tables with silverware and glassware. - Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes in dining room. - Decorates service bar and supplies it with food, such as soups, salads and desserts. - Replenishes service bar with utensils and dishes. - Serves ice water and butter to patrons. - Cleans and polishes sneeze guard, glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers. - Assists wait staff as deemed necessary by management to service guests in a timely manner. - May run errand and deliver food orders to meeting rooms. - May transfer food and dishes between floors of establishment using dumbwaiter. - Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy. - Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties. - Embrace OReach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health and Wellness, and Safety culture. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. Skills and Abilities: - The ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - The ability to work well with a variety of personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions. - The ability to multitask and prioritize. Hours: - Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays. Education and Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred, but not required. Physical Requirements of the Position: - Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or most of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree. - May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion. Physical Activity of the Position: - Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
