As a Service Specialist with PHS, you'll deliver and set up medical equipment for children and families in their homes. You'll spend your day on the road, working independently, teaching families how to use equipment such as oxygen and DME, and helping make sure medically complex kids have what they need to safely live at home.Establishes and maintains effective relationships with the patients, families and caregivers as well as all PHS employees.Schedules and makes deliveries to patients' homes in a timely manner.Confirms delivery and reports potentially unsafe conditions.Performs and instructs the initial set-up of oxygen and some DME.Performs data entry functions to log customer visits, conversations and follow-ups.Coordinates regular maintenance service to company vehicles.Assists with warehouse duties and equipment processing as needed.Manages time efficiently and be competent in estimating drive times.The benefits include competitive pay, paid time off, health, vision & dental insurance, short & long-term disability & life insurance, 401K plan, professional development, and education reimbursement.Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, 1–2 years of work experience, preferably in customer service or a related field, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and manage time effectively, and comfortable lifting and moving medical equipment.Preferred qualifications include experience in durable medical equipment (DME), home health, healthcare, or medical delivery, delivery driving or route management experience, and warehouse experience.Join PHS and help medically complex children receive the equipment and support they need at home. You'll deliver and set up oxygen and medical equipment, educate families, troubleshoot basic equipment needs, and build relationships with the patients and families you serve.Pediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990. Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities.
