Manufacturing Visual Inspection Technician

Pay Range: $24.80 hr - $27.80 hr

The Manufacturing Visual Inspection Technician is responsible for executing visual inspection and related manufacturing operations within a multi-product drug manufacturing facility. This role supports production activities, ensures compliance with cGMP and cGDP requirements, maintains documentation, and contributes to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience:

• One or more years of experience in a cGMP-regulated industry.

Responsibilities:

• Execute routine visual inspection operations related to drug product manufacturing.
• Perform duties according to standard operating procedures and manufacturing procedures with limited supervision.
• Independently perform visual inspection, advanced visual inspection, palletizing, cleaning, inspection hood preparation, manufacturing execution system operations, and exception handling following adequate training.
• Provide internal support for drug product filling and packaging activities.
• Coordinate logistics activities to support manufacturing operations.
• Execute batch records and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Maintain equipment use logs and related records.
• Initiate and track work orders.
• Support departmental and operational projects.
• Support the creation and maintenance of training kits and documentation.
• Document work in accordance with cGMP and cGDP requirements.
• Adhere to established regulatory and site compliance standards.
• Report abnormalities and deviations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Follow safety standards and identify and escalate unsafe conditions or practices.
• Maintain production areas in accordance with established workplace organization standards.
• Maintain required training compliance and provide training to technicians and associates after trainer qualification.
• Support quality activities, including investigations, corrective actions, and area walkthroughs.

Qualification And Education:

• High school diploma with a minimum of one year of experience in a GMP-regulated industry.
• Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or biotechnology vocational training preferred.
