$22.50/hour About the Opportunity We're seeking an Administrative Assistant for a temporary, full-time opportunity with an accounting firm in the Augusta area. This position will provide administrative and front-office support during the firm's busy tax season, beginning around mid-December and continuing through April 15. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with staff and clients and will help keep day-to-day office operations organized and running smoothly. This is a 40-hour-per-week, fully in-office position and would be a great fit for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working in a busy office environment, and enjoys interacting with clients.

Key Responsibilities Greet clients and provide professional front-office and telephone support Scan, copy, file, and organize client documents and correspondence Assist with processing and organizing tax returns and other client materials Prepare correspondence, perform data entry, and maintain electronic and physical files Assist with incoming/outgoing mail and other general administrative tasks Provide additional administrative support to staff during the busy tax season Requirements & Qualifications Prior administrative or professional office experience Strong computer proficiency and comfort working across multiple software programs Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with tax or accounting software is ideal, but not required for someone who is comfortable learning new systems quickly Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional communication skills and a friendly, client-focused demeanor Dependable, self-directed, and comfortable working 100% in-office About Springborn Staffing Springborn Staffing is a locally owned staffing and recruiting firm based in Portland, Maine.
