Kennel Support Associate

Kennel Support Associate (Club Pet) Part Time – 24 hours per week. Pay Rate: $20 per hour. Schedule varies. One weekend day and holidays required. As a Kennel Support Associate within our Club Pet Boarding Facility at the world renowned Helen Woodward Animal Center, you will provide animals with individualized comfort and care during their stay with us. Responsibilities Maintain animal records. Provide animals with necessary bedding and water, and meet standards for exercise, feeding, and hygiene. Administer light medications as required. Clean kennels to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Monitor pets’ emotional and physical condition. Provide individual attention and support to each animal. Position Requirements Some animal handling experience required, preferably in a kennel environment. Ability to properly handle, exercise, and control large dogs, difficult cats, and exotic animals. Able to safely lift 50 lbs. Comfortable working closely with animals that have hair or dander. Strong teamwork and communication skills; the ability to share ideas positively, listen to others, keep commitments, and address issues constructively. Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Helen Woodward Animal Center is a smoke‑free environment. Smoking is not permitted in any HWAC building or vehicle.
