Host for local brewery
Resurgence Brewing Company
Job Description
Job Description
Resurgence Brewing Co. (RBC) believes that enjoying a well-crafted brew is an experience in itself. However, it's an experience best shared with friends, both new and old. Our goal is to deliver memorable beer moments to the drinkers of the Greater Buffalo region, whether they're at home, in their favorite bar, or on a tour of our extraordinary brewery.
What you'll be doing:
Hosts are typically the first person a guest sees when visiting! Ideal candidates will support our company culture and vision, possess a "can-do" personality, self-motivated, customer-focused attitude, flexibility, and be willing to learn. We want people with the strong desire to promote our brands and provide unparalleled service - the ultimate guest experience!
Basics: welcome guests, maintain our merch counter, cash people out for to-go items, cleaning, help set tables, and seat guests.
This is a part-time position requiring evening and weekend availability.
What you'll need:
- Customer service focus/hospitable to patrons
- A smile
- A friendly, personable, energetic attitude
- A helpful, supportive, attentive demeanor - teamwork makes the dream work!
- Strong work ethic; punctual and attentive to schedule
- Able to follow directions; promote cleanliness and protocols
- Flexibility
- Ability to adapt to changes in volume (think lunch or dinner rush)
- Ability to be standing/on your feet for long periods of time
- Authorized to work in the US
Why Buffalo?
RBC is located in the heart of the City of Good Neighbors, Buffalo, NY. We're a young brewery, established in 2013, on the heels of the "resurgence" of the city (see what we did there?). Many are flocking to the region for our good eats, affordable living, friendly atmosphere, craft brew scene, new opportunities, and, of course, experiencing all four seasons! We're a big city, but not too big. There are very few degrees of separation and we value hard work. We're die-hard sports fans, perfectly positioned between the Great Lakes (on Lake Erie) and the Finger Lakes, and rich in history, architecture, and the arts.
Why Resurgence Brewing Co.?
We work hard. We have fun. We are a crazy family that loves innovation, creativity, and drive. We have award-winning beer and cider, a great atmosphere, and tasty eats!
