Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist, responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging services using digital fluoroscopic and portable radiology equipment. Key Duties Include Operating radiology equipment to obtain routine radiographs in accordance with physician specifications and protocols. Ensuring image quality, proper patient identification, and adherence to radiation safety standards. Participating in performance improvement initiatives to enhance workflows, safety, and patient experience. Maintaining a clean, safe environment and managing supplies and inventory. Communicating effectively with patients to gather medical history, explain procedures, and provide support. Performing quality control on equipment and reporting issues promptly. Documenting patient care activities and distributing images for interpretation in a timely manner. Upholding professionalism, adhering to ethical standards, and complying with safety and regulatory policies. Qualifications Include Associate's degree or accredited Radiologic Technology Certificate. ARRT registration required upon hire in Maryland and within 90 days in Washington, DC. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
