Job Description
The Electronics Assembler performs electrical assembly on products, including sub-assemblies and component assemblies, to support production of high-quality electronic devices. This role includes inspections, configurations, labeling, software loading, incoming inspections and testing, as well as final functional testing. The Electronics Assembler also prepares, packages, and documents completed products to ensure they are ready for shipment or further processing.
Location: Pensacola & Fort Walton Beach, FL (openings in both locations)

Work Environment
This role is based in a climate-controlled facility, providing a comfortable and stable work setting throughout the day. You will work primarily at a designated workstation located on an open floor shared with assembly staff and engineers, fostering collaboration and easy communication. The work involves using hand and power tools, microscopes, and measurement equipment such as micrometers, along with computers for data entry and documentation. The environment is focused on production and quality, with organized workstations and clearly defined processes to support efficient assembly and testing of electronic products.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Perform electrical assembly on products, including sub-assemblies and component assemblies, following detailed work instructions and production requirements.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to assemble electronic and mechanical components accurately.
- Carry out inspections, including incoming inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections, to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Configure and label products according to documented procedures and customer requirements.
- Load and verify software on electronic products as part of the assembly and configuration process.
- Conduct final functional testing on completed products to ensure proper operation and performance.
- Use hand tools and power tools, as well as microscopes and other equipment, to assemble and inspect circuit boards and electronic components.
- Perform soldering tasks on electronic assemblies, ensuring clean, reliable, and compliant solder joints.
- Handle mechanical assembly tasks, including fitting, fastening, and securing parts and components.
- Complete computer data entry related to production, testing, labeling, and inventory activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with inventory counts and tracking of parts, components, and finished goods as needed.
- Prepare and package products for shipment or storage, ensuring proper protection, labeling, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members on the open production floor to address assembly issues and support continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills when interacting with internal teams and supporting customer-focused quality standards.
- Experience with electronic assembly, including working with circuit boards and electronic components.
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.
- Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
- Soldering skills with attention to quality and reliability of solder joints.
- Comfort using microscopes and precision measurement tools such as micrometers.
- Competence in computer data entry and basic computer skills to support production and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail in inspections, testing, labeling, and configuration tasks.
- Effective customer service skills when working with internal stakeholders and supporting product quality.
- Ability to perform inventory counts and assist with inventory-related tasks.
- Familiarity with production environments and assembly line workflows.
- Experience performing functional testing on electronic products.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and assembly teams in an open floor environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks such as assembly, testing, and packaging.
- Good communication skills to follow instructions and report issues clearly.
- Comfort working with hand tools, power tools, microscopes, and measurement devices in a production setting.
