Qualifications Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) Experience in a Pediatric setting EHR proficiency Current CPR card The ideal candidate will have experience with babies and children and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with administering immunizations is preferred. Responsibilities and Duties Obtain detailed patient history and document in the electronic medical record Accurately draw up and administer vaccines for infants - young adults Obtain and record vitals on each patient Perform hearing and vision tests Educate parents on a variety of topics including immunizations, asthma, feeding, and symptom management for common pediatric illnesses Review patient records for immunizations and well visit status, and specific health issues Update patient immunization records in Florida Shots Schedule specialists’ appointments and complete referrals Order tests as instructed by providers Follow‑up on referrals, tests, and labs to ensure compliance.
