Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• MLT, MT, or MLS certification through ASCP or AMT
• Generalist laboratory experience covering all areas of the lab, including blood bank
• Experience working alone on the graveyard shift
• Proficiency in all areas of the lab, including blood bank

Assignment Details

• Shift hours may be either 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
• Weekend requirements apply
• Holiday requirements apply
• Call or standby call may be required
• Self-scheduling is not available
• Department-specific orientation is required
• Charting system: EPIC
• Equipment and systems used include Wellsky for blood banking, Unity Real Time for QC, and Data Innovations as middleware
