Job Description

Job Summary:
The Scrub Tech supports surgical procedures by preparing sterile instruments and assisting the surgical team. This role ensures a clean, organized, and compliant environment to facilitate efficient patient care during surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies prior to procedures.
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff by handing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Ensure proper sterilization, handling, and storage of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Document surgical supplies and equipment usage accurately.
• Support team efforts to uphold patient safety and optimize surgical workflow.

Qualifications:

• Possess valid Surgical Technologist certification or comparable credential.
• Demonstrate experience in surgical settings, preferably within a hospital OR environment.
• Display proficiency in aseptic techniques and sterile procedures.
• Ability to work variable day and night shifts, including weekends if required.
• Communicate effectively with surgical team members and hospital staff.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing schedule needs.
