Spanish-Speaking Hospice Companion Volunteers Needed in OKC!

Bristol Hospice Oklahoma is seeking compassionate Spanish-speaking volunteers to provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families. As a companion volunteer, you'll visit with patients in their homes, assisted living communities, or nursing facilities - offering comfort, kindness, and a listening ear.

Volunteer activities may include:

• Offering friendly visits and conversation in Spanish
• Reading, listening to music, or sharing stories
• Providing comfort and companionship to patients and families
• Supporting and offering breaks for family caregivers

Requirements:

• Must be fluent in Spanish and English
• Must be at least 18 years old or older
• Must complete hospice onboarding, screening, and training processes
• Exhibit reliability, compassion, and good communication skills

Commitment Requirement: Flexible - Typically 1-2 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible with your schedule and availability
