Job Title

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Major Duties/Responsibilities

• Assess and treat (both pharmacological and psychological) of psychiatric outpatients, and inpatients as needed, consultative evaluations, and, if necessary, basic medical assessment of psychiatric patients.
• Provide care for patients with a variety of mental disorders, including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, cognitive disorders, and others.
• May participate in research projects.
• Prescribes medications including controlled medications.
• Provides and documents education and counseling of patients and patients' families in preventive care, medical treatment, and the use of prescribed medications.
• Performs history and physical examinations.
• Performs psychological counseling, crisis intervention, and group therapy within the scope of the clinician's training.
• Completes and updates treatments plans, suicide risk assessments, safety plans, and other mental health quality metrics within established timeframes.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, (on-call schedule as needed)
