Location: USA - Fort Worth, Silver Creek Rd Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Supervisor-RMA-A2 - 115378 Time Type: Full Time Position Summary The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supervising labor management and planning of inbound and outbound activities, product slotting, and customer communication on a daily basis. Duties include labor scheduling, space utilization, equipment and manpower oversight, hiring and training, performance appraisals, and issue resolution in accordance with company service and cost objectives. Under the direction of the Operations Manager or Distribution Center Manager, the Supervisor oversees receiving, warehousing, and shipping of products to meet company service and cost goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan, and promote continuous improvement. Effectively keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues that affect operations. Develop systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably in line with company policies. Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals and comply with client agreements. Implement and report ongoing cost‑saving measures, providing ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations. Meet all client‑specified KPIs and comply with quality system requirements. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques, create fair and equitable supervision programs, counsel team members, and where needed, provide discipline. Provide direction and support to Human Resources and assist in hiring, training, and professional development programs. Participate in performance evaluation system for promotions, wage increases, and other HR activities. Hold overall training and evaluation responsibilities for warehouse staff. Plan daily work schedules by reviewing work orders, arrival notices, and customer instructions. Assess priorities based on time sensitivity and resources, assigning duties to appropriate staff. Review pending jobs or trends, plan for warehouse space reorganization, and adjust levels of supplies, equipment, or staffing needs. Train new staff or delegate training responsibilities to experienced team members; assess trainee progress and increase duties as appropriate. Monitor quantity and quality of jobs performed, providing guidance and advice as necessary. Assign supervisory duties to experienced leads for lower‑level staff; stay informed of progress or problems. Keep the manager advised of progress or problems requiring attention on a daily basis. Hold regular meetings with warehouse staff to assess overall status, discuss improvement ideas, and update staff on new developments. Assist with physical operations as needed. Deliver results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time. Maintain high motivation in team members to focus on providing customer satisfaction. Provide ongoing growth and development opportunities for team members. Conduct annual performance reviews for team members. Support adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train team members on corporate and client SOPs. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED. 3 years of experience in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment. 1 year of supervisory experience.
