Overview
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – travel assignment in Pocatello, Idaho. Start date: 09/08/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,035–$2,140 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days. This position operates in a teaching hospital’s Labor & Delivery unit, providing acute obstetric care in a fast-paced environment. Travel assignment with no guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities
- Deliver labor, delivery, and high-risk antepartum care per unit standards.
- Triage obstetrical patients; assist/circulate/recover for C-sections; monitor fetal status.
- Administer and manage magnesium sulfate, insulin drips, antihypertensives, and anticoagulation as ordered.
- Use and interpret IUPC placement and calibration; perform sterile vaginal exams as needed.
- Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) and enforce infection control and isolation precautions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care across all obstetric scenarios.

Requirements
- Licensure: Active State or Compact RN license in hand at time of submittal (Idaho or eligible compact license).
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical Labor & Delivery experience; travel experience not required.
- Charting: Proficient in any charting system.
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure; no specific degree requirement stated.
- Location: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
