Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.We Take Care of Our PeoplePaid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition IEmployee Stock Purchase PlanIInclusive & Supportive Culture *Your Challenge:Responsibilities include overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term qualification and/or production projects.Establishes project timelines and budgets, manages team members, and ensures projects stay within the allocated budget and timeline.Create, maintain, and provide input status on various project reports for internal and external stakeholders.Review contracts/purchase orders and change order/amendments for accuracy and completeness in preparation for project launch.Maintain backlog or other tracking reports to keep current project progress and estimated completion / shipment dates.Plan and manage all aspects of engineering projects from conceptualization to completion and project plans, including resources, timeline and budgetEstablish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standardsCreate, monitor and track project budgets and schedulesCoordinate and direct engineering personnel and test facility activitiesManage project resources and liaise with stakeholdersTrack project performance and make necessary adjustments/correctionsPrepare and present reports on project progressIdentify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies, resolving issuesWhat You Bring:U.S. Citizen5 - 7 years (minimum) experience in Engineering Project Management or as an Engineering LeadBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringMaster’s in Mechanical Engineering or Business (MBA) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusExperience in engineering development of mechanical systems and the transition to manufacturing/productionProficiency in project management methodologies, scheduling, and resource allocationStrong understanding of engineering principles and practicesDemonstrated leadership skills (soft skills, business acumen, building teams, building customer relationships, presentation & decision making skills)Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex problemsProject engineering management including planning, design management, and product verificationAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesMicrosoft Office Skills including Microsoft ProjectSales Order, Shop Orders, and Drawing reading capabilityKnowledge of material specifications, bills of materials, manufacturing, and inspection techniquesKnowledge of earned value management (EVM) and project budgetingProficiency in project management software toolsPrior experience with ORACLE ERP desirable#LI-NK1No unsolicited agency submittals please.
