Description: RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. Techs start directly on the unit on Mondays until they have their Dimensions training.

Required Skills / Certs / Exp: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years, Minimum Experience Traveler Experience: Not required, Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes. Skills: Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry. Must have IR Experience - 90% is IR. Certs: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS.

Preferred Skills / Certs / Exp: Skills: Perform EKG lead placement. Certs: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with Med Experience.

Job Details: Shift: 40 hours can be offered. Unit will accept contracts 13-20 weeks! 8 Hour Days; 07:30 - 16:00. Call Requirement: Minimum: 7 call days per month. Typical Schedule: Two call days per week for two weeks each month, one call weekend per month. Additional Coverage: May be required to meet departmental needs; this is rotated equitably among all staff members. Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures. Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type. Call team consists of three staff members, one of whom is an RN. Float Requirement: None. Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend.

Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics. Patient Diagnoses: Vice Implants: PPM, ICD.

Special Procedures / Unit Details: We are a combo lab (IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP) with an approximate 90%-10% split with IR being the 90%, 10% being other procedure types. Assist the provider while performing diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Scrub, circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures. Medication administration performed by RN only.

Special Equipment: GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella.

Scheduling Type: Per Unit Needs; NO HOLIDAY RTO FOR THIS ROLE. Techs start directly on the unit on Mondays until they have their Dimensions training. Unit Orientation: 40 Hours; 40-80 hours. Scrubs: Yes. Scrubs are provided.
