Substance Abuse Counselor

Rainbow's End Recovery Center is a residential drug and alcohol treatment facility nestled in the scenic mountains of central Idaho along the Salmon River. The center specializes in dual-diagnosis treatment for adults dealing with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse Counselor at our facility in Challis, ID. The Counselor will work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans, facilitating group and individual counseling sessions, providing relapse prevention strategies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to support patient recovery. Qualifications Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Case Management Experience with Chemical Dependency and Relapse Prevention strategies Knowledge of Mental Health principles as they relate to substance use disorders Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work empathetically and maintain a non-judgmental approach with clients Relevant certification or licensure in substance abuse counseling Experience in a residential treatment facility or similar environment is a plus Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting #J-18808-Ljbffr RAINBOW'S END RECOVERY CENTER LLC
