What to Expect

In this position, you will assist the marketing team in showcasing our specialties and increasing outreach in the West Michigan area. This marketing internship is primarily sales based, focusing on connecting with referral sources. This is an unpaid internship with flexible hours/time frame to meet education requirements (6-12 hrs/week) from September to December 2026. This position will work closely with our Director of Community Relations. This role will be based out of our administrative office on Kalamazoo Ave in Caledonia, Michigan.

Duties would include, but not be limited to the following:

• Drop off promo items and flyers to local referral offices
• Assist with setup for lunches and happy hours with physical therapists and referral sources
• Attend community and physician events as needed.
• Analyze and organize marketing data (providing reports to departments as needed)
• Undertake administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
• Attend community events as needed
• Engage with and respond to online reviews
• Assist in updating the company website
• Create and edit short video content and assist with social media posts as needed

Job Requirements:

• College student pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in marketing, communications, or business-related field; or equivalent work experience
• A driver's license and reliable vehicle (you will be reimbursed for mileage)
• Outgoing and personable; comfortable cold-calling and developing new relationships
• Highly self-motivated
• Maintain a professional image as a representative of the company
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced, fun environment
• Knowledge of digital marketing and social media marketing is a plus
