Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the Southeast region, focused on generating new business, expanding key accounts, and building long-term customer partnerships. This is a high-impact remote opportunity for someone who thrives on prospecting, relationship building, and closing new business in a competitive manufacturing environment. Location: Remote – Southeast U.S. Preferred locations include Georgia, South Carolina, or Florida Compensation: Base salary of $100,000 - $120,000 + uncapped commission Total earnings potential up to $225,000+ What You’ll Do:

• Drive new business development across the Southeast territory
• Sell directly to end-user customers in food production, consumer goods, medical, industrial, and related markets
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, LinkedIn, and market research
• Travel throughout the region to meet prospects and customers (approximately 50%)
• Identify customer needs and recommend custom product solutions
• Develop proposals, quotes, and pricing strategies
• Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Track pipeline activity, prospects, and opportunities using Excel and CRM tools
• Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of successful outside sales experience in packaging or industrial manufacturing
• Strong background selling to bakery, food production, confectionery, consumer goods, or similar customers highly preferred
• Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close new business
• Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and territory management skills
• CRM proficiency and strong Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
