Controller- Family Office

A prominent family office is looking for a Controller to join their team. The office manages the assets, investments, financial and personal affairs of a high-net-worth principal This is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves accounting role responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls. Responsibilities Own and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities using QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP / bill pay workflow coordination Assist in preparation of outbound checks, wire transfers and other electronic payments. Lead a timely, consistent month-end close process, including close checklists, schedules, and documented procedures. Prepare recurring internal reporting packages (by entity and consolidated views). Assist with entity-level tax reporting and data related to hedge fund K-1s, partnerships, trusts, and personal holdings. Support cash tracking and liquidity visibility through reliable reporting and forecasting inputs. Support budgeting and forecasting processes to facilitate financial planning and decision-making.
