CRNA PRN (Per Diem)
Advanced Cardiovascular Institute at The Medical Center is seeking a CRNA for a per diem (PRN) role. This is a one-day-per-week (Thursdays) CRNA only position (no MD supervision). The Advanced Cardiovascular Institute at The Medical Center is a specialized, state-of-the-art cardiovascular facility located in Houston, Texas focusing on advanced, minimally invasive outpatient procedures for heart rhythm disorders and peripheral vascular disease, delivering high-quality care in a patient-centered ambulatory setting.
Hourly Rate: $225 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
