Job Description: As a Runner  at Jelly Roll’s Goodnight Nashville , you will be responsible for providing our guests with best in class service. Runners assist servers in enhancing the guest experience by anticipating needs to ensure each guest has a wonderful and unique visit at our venues. You will play a vital role in both maintaining a positive and productive work environment for our team, while upholding the highest standard of service that defines our brand(s).

  Duties/Responsibilities:  

• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
• Assist servers with food delivery and beverage service as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, tables, and service stations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and waitstaff to ensure timely service.
• Help with food handling and ensure that all health and safety standards are followed.
• Support catering events as needed by assisting with setup and breakdown of service areas.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

  Required Skills/Abilities:  

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others in the team are essential for success in this role.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
