Mechanical Estimator – HVAC, Plumbing & Process Piping - Denver region A well-established mechanical contractor is hiring a Mechanical Estimator to support complex commercial and industrial projects throughout Colorado. This is an opportunity to take ownership of estimates, work alongside an experienced preconstruction team, and build a long-term career with a contractor that has been operating for more than a century. What You’ll Do Lead mechanical estimates valued up to $1M Support senior estimators on larger, more complex pursuits Develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and bid documents Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals Prepare competitive bid packages for general contractors and owners Manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously Account for field conditions, constructability, and installation methods What We’re Looking For 1–5+ years of mechanical estimating experience Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and/or process piping systems Experience with institutional, healthcare, laboratory, pharmaceutical, brewery, or industrial projects preferred Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and construction documents QuickPen or AutoBid experience is a plus Bluebeam and Microsoft Office proficiency Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail What’s Offered Profit-sharing program Medical and life insurance 401(k) Competitive paid time off Robust employee wellness program Collaborative, family-friendly working environment Clear opportunities to progress within estimating and preconstruction #J-18808-Ljbffr Engtal
