Your main focus:

• Forklift Operators load, unload, move and rotate all Manhattan Beer Distributor's products while safely operating and maintaining a powered industrial lift truck (forklift) or other material handling equipment.
• Skillfully operate forklift in warehouse environment to rotate and stack product
• Maintain all personal safety equipment
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures concerning "safety" in the work place
• Help maintain the physical condition of the warehouse with a real sense of urgency, planning and implementing; inspecting equipment to optimize safety conditions
• Maintain an open line of communication with supervisors ensuring appropriate production levels are attained according to company standards
• Proficiently review processes and propose more efficient methods for completing assigned tasks
• Comfortably utilize warehouse technology including management systems software and hardware (training provided)

Position requirements:

• Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM start time
• Forklift certified (on-site training available)
• Technologically savvy
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs to shoulder height
• Capable of lifting 165 lb barrel off the floor
• Must be 21 years of age
• Minimum high school graduate or GED equivalent

Hourly Salary:$16.00-$18.00
