Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,157 per week in Wausau, WI

Key Responsibilities
Set up and prepare operative suites for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases, including reviewing case carts to confirm all required supplies are available
Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties, with a primary focus on cardiac and thoracic procedures; approximately 50-60 cases per month supported by a team of three cardiothoracic surgeons
Turn over operating rooms efficiently to support multiple procedures throughout the day
Participate in on-call rotation: one night of call per week, one weekend per month, and one backup call per week;

30-minute response time required - must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes ; additional mandated call may occasionally be required
Rotate for every third weekend and participate in holiday rotation
Perform downtime tasks as needed, including pulling case carts and cleaning, demonstrating flexibility and a strong work ethic throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
Active CST certification required - NBSTSA or NCCT accepted
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required
Prior travel assignment experience required
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with thoracic robotic surgical procedures
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
Demonstrated ability to manage change, remain resilient under pressure, and work collaboratively in a team environment
