Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: NG tube placement and management Foley placement and management Chest tube maintenance Description: Leading healthcare organization seeking a Registered Nurse for their Orthopedic Surgery specialty. The facility is Joint Commission Accredited. They provide comprehensive pediatric services. Partnerships with transport services enhance care delivery. The level of care includes a range of specialized services. This role involves working with an adult and geriatric patient population. The unit features 31 beds with patient care ratios of 1:6. Equipment used includes an Electronic Health Record system. Common diagnoses include small bowel obstructions, diabetic complications, wound care, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, and sepsis. The ideal candidate will be outgoing with excellent communication skills and adaptable to change. A graduate of an accredited nursing school with an associate degree or higher is required. Dress code includes solid-color scrubs, with specific attire outlined. This position is a replacement for permanent staff.
