Physicians set their own visit schedule within a structured weekly framework, work from anywhere, and practice without the administrative overhead of a traditional office, supported by a streamlined EMR and a dedicated provider-support team. Compensation is $35 per completed consult (1099, commission-based) — $105/hour at our standard 20-minute visit length, with effective pay increasing up to $210/hour as physicians transition to shorter visit times. Our top 10% of physicians earn $260K annually . This role is best suited to physicians who can commit 15–20 hours per week . Job Description We're seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least five U.S. states to join our team. Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role offers the opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine outside the constraints of a traditional practice. All work is fully virtual. Responsibilities Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships Order and interpret lab tests as needed to support high-quality treatment decisions Prescribe medications and provide guidance on proper use (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except buprenorphine for opioid use disorder treatment) Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Maintain accurate medical documentation to support continuity of care Stay current with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices Requirements Active medical license in at least five U.S. states (preference for three or more of: AL, CA, FL, GA, NC, PA, TX ), with willingness to obtain additional licenses (QuickMD covers costs and provides support) Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person practice Ability to work at least 15 hours weekly , across at least four days per week, with schedules submitted one week in advance Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence Comfort with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided) Active DEA registration and applicable state CSL, where required Genuine interest in expanding access to care, particularly in underserved communities Why Physicians Choose QuickMD Structured flexibility : set your own visit schedule within a predictable weekly framework; work from anywhere Transparent, per-visit compensation : $35/consult; our top 10% of physicians earn $260K annually No administrative burden : no billing, no office overhead; focus on patients Fast, guided onboarding : dedicated concierge support through credentialing and setup Malpractice insurance fully covered (3M/1M), with dedicated legal and compliance support Modern, physician-efficient technology : EMR and telehealth tools built for high-volume virtual care Meaningful clinical impact : direct role in expanding addiction treatment access to underserved communities Physicians are engaged as independent contractors (1099); Form 1099 is issued annually.
