Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant

Location: Downtown Phoenix, Arizona (CityScape)
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office | Monday–Friday
Reports To: Supervising Paralegal / Pre-Litigation Manager
Experience: 3+ Years in Personal Injury Pre-Litigation
Compensation: Highly Competitive Salary + Bonus Opportunity

The Opportunity:

A growing, established plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Downtown Phoenix is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys, paralegals, and case managers.

The firm handles motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize case files in Filevine , ensuring accurate documentation and deadline tracking.
• Request medical records, bills, and imaging reports.
• Track client medical treatment, gaps in care, and prepare medical chronologies.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, and lien holders.
• Draft letters of representation, correspondence, file memos, and record requests.
• Assist with demand preparation, negotiations, and settlement documentation.
• Utilize Filevine, LeadDocket, RingCentral, and Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of personal injury pre-litigation experience.
• Filevine experience is mandatory (intermediate to advanced).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience supporting paralegals, attorneys, and demand writers.
• Familiarity with Arizona personal injury procedures and medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team in a fast-paced environment.
