Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract opportunity is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You'll work in both self-contained and inclusion classrooms, providing tailored instruction and fostering growth for students at the elementary level.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for elementary grades
  • Experience with self-contained and inclusion classroom settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans for diverse learning needs
  • Passionate about promoting positive learning environments and advocating for students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction in both self-contained and inclusion elementary classrooms
  • Adapt curriculum and modify lessons to meet individual student goals and IEP requirements
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Implement behavior intervention strategies and support student social-emotional growth
  • Participate in professional development and IEP meetings as required
