Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract opportunity is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You'll work in both self-contained and inclusion classrooms, providing tailored instruction and fostering growth for students at the elementary level.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for elementary grades
Experience with self-contained and inclusion classroom settings preferred
Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans for diverse learning needs
Passionate about promoting positive learning environments and advocating for students

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction in both self-contained and inclusion elementary classrooms
Adapt curriculum and modify lessons to meet individual student goals and IEP requirements
Track student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Implement behavior intervention strategies and support student social-emotional growth
Participate in professional development and IEP meetings as required
