About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join its dynamic team. This pivotal role involves being the first finance executive in the organization, with a primary focus on establishing and scaling the finance function to support the company's rapid growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder/CEO, acting as a strategic partner in financial decision-making, and will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including financial planning, capital management, and investor relations. The Head of Finance will also be instrumental in building and leading the finance team, and must be adept at operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 6-10 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or high-growth startups, with a preference for those who have a background in high-growth consumer, CPG, or retail-driven businesses. The role requires a candidate with strong financial modeling and analytical skills, the ability to influence decision-making, and a proven track record in fundraising and investor communications. While not mandatory, a CPA, CFA, or MBA is a bonus. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong execution skills, and be excited about the prospect of building from the ground up in a venture-scale company.
