The Medical Affairs Division of J&J Innovative Medicine provides practical industry-specific scientific and analytical experience. Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for an Immunology Medical Affairs Clinical Project Scientist (CPS) intern located in Horsham PA. Thisposition will be part of the Program Management and Clinical Operations Teams with Immunology U.S. Medical Affairs. The Clinical Project Scientist (CPS) Intern will support Investigator Initiated and Collaborative Studies working closely with the Clinical Project Scientists (CPS) Therapeutic Area (TA) Lead Medical Directors Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team and Post Approval Delivery Unit (PA DU). The intern may support company sponsored trials and post marketing commitment studies including both interventional and registry studies for an assigned therapeutic area (TA) under the direction of the CPS. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with US Immunology (IMM) Medical Affairs Staff supporting ongoing activities and projects Participate in ongoing team meetings Be exposed to various functions within the larger Immunology Medical Affairs/Research & Development/Commercial organizations Develop and deliver an end-of-summer presentation to senior leadership highlighting your work and key contributions Eligibility Criteria Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelors degree in a science-related field (e.g. Biochemistry/Biology/Chemistry) or graduate study in PharmD PhD MPH or other masters program in a science-related field Completed two or three years of college coursework Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g. H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT OPT or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship. Required Qualifications A minimum GPA of 3.0 Detail-oriented analytical highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks Ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word Excel (with a high proficiency with generating tables and graphs) and PowerPoint Proficient with approved AI tools Preferred Qualifications Technical competencies in SharePoint and other information technology systems Experience with PubMed and other literature databases Academic and/or industrial clinical trial experience Participation in campus/community service activities Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g. H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
