Join Our client's team as an Outside Sales Representative Drive Innovation and Growth in Industrial Automation
Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for industrial controls and automation? Were seeking a dynamic Outside Sales Representative to lead our growth efforts in Lakewood, Colorado. This full-time role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technology, build meaningful client relationships, and make a tangible impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
As a key member of our team, you will own a defined territory, actively developing new business, nurturing long-term customer partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions across OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and engineering firms. Your consultative approach and technical expertise will position you as a trusted advisor in a competitive marketplace, driving sustained revenue growth and market expansion.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of outside sales, marketing, or business development experience within industrial controls, safety automation, or related automation products
- Proven track record with LV & MV control products, including circuit breakers, switchgear, transformers, enclosures, and hardware
- Established relationships with OEMs, system integrators, UL508A shops, distributors, contractors, and consultants
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and sales teams
- Ability to identify high-impact market segments and strategically target competitors
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience selling to EPC organizations and industrial clients within a competitive landscape
- Technical background or familiarity with complex industrial systems
- Previous success in territory growth and account development
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred)
- Extensive experience in industrial automation sales within a technical or engineering-focused organization
Other Requirements:
- Valid drivers license with willingness to travel within the territory as needed
- Knowledge of UL508A standards and other industry certifications
