Your expertise will provide valuable assistance during a leave of absence, helping to maintain a positive learning environment and ensure students’ needs continue to be met. Desired Qualifications & Experience: Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist Prior experience delivering school-based psychological services Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families Knowledge of special education laws, eligibility procedures, and best practices Flexible, organized, and collaborative mindset Experience with diverse student populations preferred Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments Develop and present clear reports of evaluation results Collaborate with IEP teams to develop individualized plans Offer crisis intervention, consultation, and support services as needed Provide short-term counseling and guidance to students Engage with teachers, administrators, and families to address student concerns Maintain accurate records and uphold ethical standards at all times This role allows you to utilize your skills in a supportive school setting while providing continuity to programs and services during a staff leave.
