Food Service Worker – Oregon State Hospital, Salem Campus – 2 positions The Food Service Worker performs a variety of food service activities in a state youth or adult institution. Service activities include setting-up condiments and panning food, food portioning, preparing food trays, serving on food lines, clearing, and cleaning dining and serving areas, putting away stock and kitchenettes, and washing dishes, pots, and pans in a volume dining or food service facility. Employees ensure the various dietary needs of clients, patients, students, and inmates are met to adhere to specific nutritional requirements and dietary needs. What We Are Looking For Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application to be considered: Six months of experience in customer or food service. Special Qualifications Must have a Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of appointment OR completion of the Marion County Advanced Food Management Principles and Concepts Training, including HACCP Certification, at the time of appointment. Must always be current & certified in safe hood handling certifications. Valid Oregon Driver’s license. Additional Details This announcement is for two full-time, permanent, SEIU represented Food Service Workers based in Salem, Oregon.
