As the Chief Anesthesiologist, you will lead a vibrant team of physicians and CRNAs while providing comprehensive perioperative and postoperative care. This role offers a unique balance of clinical leadership and community connection in the desirable South Shore area. Practice Info Local, site-led leadership Strong collaboration between all 5 physicians and 16 CRNAs on the team Covers general, ortho (including spine), ENT, endo, vascular, podiatry, minimal thoracic, plastics, and OB/GYN services Responsibilities Provide perioperative and postoperative care for Signature Healthcare, Brockston Hospital, which covers general, ortho (including spine), ENT, endo, vascular, podiatry, minimal thoracic, plastics, and OB/GYN services. Works in collaboration with CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians and medical professionals to ensure appropriate anesthesia services are delivered. As chief, in conjunction with the Medical Staff of the Facility, establish and maintain standards of patient care as it relates to anesthesia, including initiating medical care evaluation studies after consultation with administration of the Facility and as needed to ensure quality patient care Monitor and evaluate the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care services provided within the Department and take appropriate action based on such findings. Represent the department on the Medical Staff of the facility, serve as liaison between the department and other departments of the Facility, and attend and report on activities of the Department at the various committees and general meetings. Work closely with Sound, hospital administrators, and surgeons.
