Salary: $120,000 - 170,000 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree with 8 years of experience in application development, analysis, or engineering, or a high school diploma/GED with 12 years of equivalent experience.
• We prefer 7+ years of progressive infrastructure experience across multiple enterprise server platforms.
• We prefer 3+ years of leadership or management experience, including direct supervision or technical lead responsibility.
• We look for experience supporting Windows Server, Linux, AIX, enterprise storage, and backup platforms in a medium or large enterprise.
• We value a strong understanding of infrastructure operations, platform hardening, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and production support.

• We lead and oversee the daily operations of infrastructure teams supporting Windows, Linux, AIX, storage, and backup environments across production, disaster recovery, test, and development systems.
• We supervise, coach, and develop system administrators and engineers, including workload planning, performance feedback, career growth, and team coordination.
• We maintain high availability and reliability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, incident management, root cause analysis, and continual service improvement.
• We manage the full lifecycle of servers, operating systems, storage platforms, and backup systems, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• We ensure readiness for backup, restore, replication, and disaster recovery, with recovery objectives documented, tested, and achievable.
• We partner with cybersecurity and risk teams to apply secure configuration standards, remediate vulnerabilities, manage privileged access, harden endpoints, and meet internal and regulatory requirements.
• We establish and enforce standards for system builds, operating procedures, documentation, change control, and platform governance.
• We coordinate major incident response for supported platforms during outages, service degradation, and recovery events.
• We support audits and examinations by preparing evidence, answering control questions, and closing identified gaps promptly.
• We manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, maintenance, and support services, including escalation and service reviews.
• We contribute to infrastructure modernization, automation, cloud integration where applicable, data center operations, and platform roadmap planning.
• We collaborate with application and database teams to support performance, platform tuning, middleware dependencies, and infrastructure needs for business initiatives.
• We drive automation and efficiency through scripting, configuration management, standardized deployment methods, and reduced manual work.
• We own capacity and performance management for compute, storage, and backup environments to support growth and resilience.
• We ensure compliance with ITIL-aligned processes for incident, problem, change, request, and configuration management.

We are a remote opportunity that may only be hired in Arizona, North Carolina, and Texas. We are seeking a Senior IT Manager, Infrastructure Platforms to lead the administration, support, and operational stability of our core infrastructure platforms, including Windows Server, Linux, AIX, enterprise storage, and backup services. In this hands-on leadership role, we work closely with Information Security, Architecture, Application Support, Network Engineering, Risk, Audit, and business stakeholders to provide resilient infrastructure services that support our bank applications and enterprise operations. The position reports to the Sr. Director of Infrastructure and Operations and includes direct oversight of system administrators, infrastructure engineers, or platform specialists. Our work environment may include on-call rotation, after-hours maintenance, disaster recovery testing, and incident response for critical production systems.
