Job Overview Full‑Time Lab Associate I – Phlebotomy at Memorial Hospital Belleville. Mid‑day afternoon evening shift from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm with rotating weekends. Work includes outpatient and inpatient settings and eligibility for extra holiday pay on designated holidays. Responsibilities Perform phlebotomy with positive patient identification and maintain specimen integrity. Coordinate simultaneous tasks accurately, including STAT orders and workload fluctuations, prioritizing work to meet turnaround times. Interact with laboratory, clinical, and ancillary departments. Complete clerical duties associated with specimen collection. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required). Two or more years of phlebotomy experience (preferred). Knowledge of specimen collection, handling, and processing. Ability to work a 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm shift with rotating weekends. Preferred Qualifications Experience in related roles such as phlebotomist, lab technician, lab associate, or laboratory professional. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Phlebotomy certification.
