Associate Director of Nursing

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
• Eight (8) years of progressively responsible relevant clinical experience or MBA/MSN with 2‐3 years of progressively responsible relevant clinical experience.
• Previous management experience
• Quality management and performance improvement experience

Preferred:

• MBA or Master's Degree in a related field

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License

Preferred:

• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty or other related field; required within 2 years of accepting position.
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., CPR, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Fetal Monitoring, Chemotherapy)

Work Environment

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas, which requires working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
• Employees are required to have reasonable access to transportation to meet work requirements made in the ordinary course of business in a timely and efficient manner.
